New WeatherBug Application for iPhone and iPod touch

WeatherBug announced a web app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch devices, giving users access to streaming weather conditions as well as the ability to view daily-updated video weathercasts. The weather app already available on the iPhone is nice, but the WeatherBug app gives much more information. Apart from a 7-day forecast, you get camera images from WeatherBug's network of tracking stations. You can also set a variety of locations for multiple cities and scroll through current conditions and even live camera images for each one.
WeatherBug claims that its weather info is unmatched when it comes to the depth and granularity of information. I'm pretty sure the app runs happily on the Nokia N95 as well, just so you know you don't have to buy an iPhone to use it.
If you want to see it in action, visit the Moscone Convention Center at the CTIA 2007 between October 23-25, 2007.
