15 Nov 08 New Weather Channel Mobile App for iPhone and iPhone touch!

I have the feeling that I have finally discovered an application which you might actually be able to use for something except for filling up that 8GB or 16GB memory of that iPhone or iPod touch of yours. With the Weather Channel Mobile application you wont have to go to Yahoo!Weather to find out how the weather will be on your vacation. You can check the weather whenever you like. This will make your life easier if your job takes you outdoor a lot. Some of the best features include the Fully Customizable Maps which allow you to decide which weather layers to display (clouds, snow, rain, tornados) as well as landmarks (houses, parks, museums, cities) and the Video Forecast which allows you to watch national and international video predictions thanks to The Weather Channel on-air meteorologists.

I’m not that into weather but The Weather Channel Mobile is totally free so you can install it anytime you want. Start!

I love the Weather Channel app for iPhone. But,
how do I delete a location or is that even possible?

    Thanks for your help.

Just delete the app, re-install it with what locations you want. I don’t see any other way, until, maybe an update is created to fix this issue!

I had the worst time with this one, so here’s how I’ve been doing it.
Set your location to one other than the one you wish to remove. Go back to the locations and double-tap on the little blue > on the one you want to delete. A menu show come up allowing you to delete the location.

I’m able to do it a little differently than Billy. I’m able to bring up the menu by tapping once just barely to the left of the blue circle. It looks like maybe the programmer intended for us to tap the blue circle but got his location a little off.
