There is a new unit on the Sony Walkman series, more specifically the NWZ-E450 which is commonly known as Sony Walkman E450.

Basically there are 3 models in this series that differ in storage capacity:

- Sony Walkman NWZ-E455 with 16GB;
- Sony Walkman NWZ-E454 with 8GB;
- Sony Walkman NWZ-E453 with 4GB;

As for the normal features of the multimedia players, besides audio in MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV it can also playback video in H.264/AVC, WMV, and MPEG-4, as well as images and lyrics in .lrc format. The 2-inch display screen provides a resolution of 204×320 pixels and the extras include a FM tuner, voice recorder, alarm clock and a timer. The battery life of this Sony PMP can last 10 hours in video playback mode, or up to 50 hours in music mode.
