New SelectRadio Software Brings XM & Sirius to Mobile Phones

selectradio.pngWith a new, recently introduced version of the SelectRadio software for Windows mobile wireless PDAs or handsets. The new SelectRadio software additionally expands the free content offerings to more than 5,000 music, news, talk and weather channels.

Access to the satellite radio may possibly be free for existing subscribers through XM Radio online or Sirius Internet Radio, or it will available separately from XM for $7.99/mo and from Sirius for $12.95/mo.

A network connection through either a handheld wireless GPRS/EDGE, EVDO, or WiFi connection or the USB ActiveSync connection is required to tune in to the SelectRadio software. The device specific license can be purchased for $25 to use the SelectRadio software. Customers with licensed copies of previous SelectRadio versions are able to upgrade thier device to v3.5 for free.
