New One Laptop Per Child uses John Lennon

I saw this ad for One Laptop for Child, and I couldn’t help but wonder how appropriate it is to use a deceased person’s image to advertise, even if it is for a charity.

Does anyone think that it is odd that One Laptop per Child is using John Lennon, who died a decade before the Internet was even brought to the public? I wonder what Paul and Ringo are thinking about this. I also wonder if Yoko had any say in this.
