New Magellan GPS Units/Packs at Outdoor Retailer Show

GPS maker Magellan will unveil its new Fall 2008 lineup of navigation devices at the 2008 Outdoor Retailer Summer show. The lineup includes Magellan Triton Series AdventurePack which features one of five Triton units, National Geographic’s TOPO! Explorer Deluxe map software, a carrying case and, as an added bonus, an SD memory card.

The NatGeo TOPO! software supports Magellan Triton 300, 400, 500, 1500 and 2000 units and is targeted at outdoor enthusiasts. With detailed map imagery, the software features an online database filled with trails, forest service roads and related recreational information.

The Triton AdventurePack, designed to work with the Magellan Triton 400, 500, 1500 and 2000 models, comes with a carrying case and SD card along with TOPO! With a rugged IPX-7 compliant design and color touch screen on some units, you can catch the AdventurePack in action at the Outdoor Retailer show.
