New Firmware to Arrive to T-Mobile’s G1By Chris - 02/03/2009 5:57:55 PM |

G1 users gather around. T-Mobile is going to release a new firmware update. Version 1.1 RC33 will arrive soon. Rumor has it that some people have already received the new firmware version yesterday, but there’s no specific released date for the RC33. The RC33 will bring various features to G1 owners. Besides fixing bugs and increasing system stability, it will also “include new system enhancements such as the ability to save pictures or files to file by long-pressing an item, check for system updates, and use the Google Voice Search feature.” There’s no trace of Cupcake in this build but don’t loose faith just yet! A future firmware might bring it over.
