Doesn’t it look like a crocodile? The Becker Z100 Crocodile GPS device has a more resistant outer case. A crocodile-like case filled with scales. The Z100 comes with a 4.3 inch screen and Navteq preloaded maps of 40 European countries on a 2GB SD stick.
The Z100 is powered by a a SiRF Star III GPS receiver combined with SiRF’s InstantFixII functionality which will allow a faster GPS fix as it is based on satellite location prediction. The navigation software comes from Navteq which means you will benefit from 3D RealityView technology. The software will let you divide your screen in two areas. One for general location and the other one for a detailed zoomed in image. Buildings and important landmarks will be also conveniently displayed.
There’s no information on availability or price yet, but we will certainly let you know once we find it out.
