The Mali-200 and Mali-400 are on schedule to appear in some new cellphones this year. According to ARM‘s graphics product manager, Remi Pedersen, these ARM-powered handsets are set to arrive by the end of the year, right in time for Santa. These processors are said to be able to run OpenGL ES 2.0 and run 16 million triangles per second and 275 million pixels per second. He failed to mention which manufacturers are bringing the the new processors but we’ll be here waiting.
