New Apple Patent Lights up Your Apple Gadgets
A recently spotted Apple patent details about the touchpad of a MacBook or the clickwheel of an iPod lighting up as you finger it. According to the patent, the lighting changes as the menu option changes.
The first design option entails a ball of lighting following your finger around as you scroll around the wheel.
The second design option entails blocks of the clickwheel or touchpad lighting up as you place your finger upon it.
Aside from the ones mentioned above, according to the patent, the faster you scroll or move your fingers around, the brighter the light is.
While the idea may sound cool, you really got to ask yourself if we need this feature. What for? We're really not that stupid to need lighting to guide us while we navigate a MacBook or an iPod, are we?
