931n_nec-630x630-620x620You know how some cell phones have a real glare problem when you try to view them outside? I can’t stand it either. This is why NEC has developed a color-compensation chip made to view LCDs in bright outdoor settings.

The NEC is able to boost colors like yellow, and can even to low power consumption. This 5.6mm chip is going to be sold by NEC to other cell phone companies as well.
