With the introduction of Nokia N902iL NEC has reinforced wireless LAN performance and security performance. The Nokia N902iL is a dual-network model that can toggle mechanically between the FOMA network and wireless LANs. The phone is compatible with DoCoMo?s Mobile Centrex services thereby letting the handset to function as an IP-based extension phone on the corporate user?s wireless LAN in the office as well as a cell phone on DoCoMo?s FOMA? 3G mobile network outdoors. So now you can roam wherever you want without any fear of missed calls while you are away. PASSAGE DUPLE? (for companies with a PBX) and IP Centrex services are offered to assist customers in outsourcing a PBX. The phone also supports IEEE802.11g protocol for maneuver on wireless LANs at up to 54Mbps, and the IEEE802.11e for augmented voice quality. On its 2.5-inch screen you can have an access to the Internet at a faster speed. An internal contact less IC chip permits the phone to function as an e-wallet, timecard and security ID. Most important of all, the phone has advanced security features in the form of key operation lock, bio certification (face certification) along with entrust the lock (R).
