The 8100T is one of the best GPS units Navigon has released so far, or at least that’s what they say. But is it really so? Think about the 4.8 inch display, the brushed-metal housing, a 3D view based on the NASA terrain height data, real-time traffic updates which are free for life, voice destination entry, text-to-speech recognition, Bluetooth handsfree support and an inbuilt lane assistant. What else can this Navigon do? Well it costs $599 so it better live up to our expectations.
