Navigon unleashed its latest portable navigation device for the high-end segment, the Navigon 7200T. With exclusive features such as Reality View Pro, Lane Assistant Pro and free real-time traffic updates for life, the 7200T is certainly a useful little gadget to have in your car. The device also features Voice Destination Entry, where you can simply speak the destination address instead of having to type it on the display.

The Navigon 7200T is portable and features a flat touchscreen enough to create a frameless display. Thanks to real-time traffic updates, the device can avoid trouble areas and work out alternate routes. This does not require any registration, additional fees or hardware. The enhanced Landmark View 3D provides textured 3D landmarks across the US and Canada.

One of the more interesting features is the Lane Assistant Pro which helps drivers prepare for an upcoming exit or turn by giving visual lane guidance - quite useful when you don’t want to be late for that football game and you don’t know the area. There’s also integrated Bluetooth, text-to-speech and of course tons of points of interest.

The Navigon 7200T carries an MSRP of US $449 and you can pre-order it on Amazon.com. It will be available starting October 2008.
