NAVIGON 7100 and 5100 Navigation Models at CeBIT

Navigon, the software creators for many popular brand name navigation products, unveils its first consumer brand devices with the NAVIGON 5100 and 7100 at CeBIT. The models are expected to be available in Europe sometime in April and mid-summer in the US.
The Navigon 5100 comes housed in a compact chrome shell with a 3.5” display that can be viewed in either portrait or landscape modes. It offers the Navigon’s premium software including Lane Assistance, Reality View, subscription-free traffic, and Zagat Survey reviews and ratings. Other features of the 5100 include voice recognition for voice commands, pre-installed maps of U.S. and Canada, and turn-by-turn voice prompts via text-to speech capability.
The premium Navigon 7100 comes housed in a slim piano black shell with a 4.3" widescreen color display. It includes all of the same features, just a larger screen and Bluetooth hands-free calling. What makes these navigation devices unlike many others is that they are designed to work directly out of the box. MSRP will be release shortly before the summer launch of the systems.
