Towards the beginning of this month T-Mobile and HTC announced that they would be launching the myTouch 3G Slide, a follow up to the popular T-Mobile myTouch 3G, would be released sometime next month but we did not have a solid release date. Now, T-Mobile has come forth to let us know that the myTouch 3G Slide will be made available on June 2nd for $179.99with a 2-year contract and $50 mail-in rebate. This is a contrasting report to the previous June 16th launch date at a price point of $149.99.
For those not familiar with this device, it features a 3.4-inch touchscreen with an optical track pad and slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Google’s Android operating system, a GSM/EDGE, UMTS/HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD slot.
