This isn’t the first time that I’ve seen an iPhone turned into universal remote before like Thinkflood’s RedEye and the Kinetix.

This one from Ryz Media is called the My TV Remote, and it comes with an infrared emitter to make it work. My TV Remote comes with a TV guide so the user can thumb through channels like selecting music, and read descriptions of the shows as well. It also is connected to social networks, so you can see what your friends are watching now, and what is popular. It only works with TV, but it is planned to work with DVD players, Blu-ray, and anything else that has a transmitter.

The App costs $9.99 and the infrared emitter is sent to you.
