Can I strip out Windows Vista and load XP instead on my MSI VX600 ? Local sales outlet advises against this course of action but after a month of Vista, I long for XP again.

@Don McDowell: Sure, why not. In lots of things XP is beter than Vista so go for XP. Tho, when you bought the laptop in the last half year you probably have a free upgrade to Windows 7 but if you don’t mind have the newest stuff then install XP!
