With CES approaching, Laptopmag sat down with MSI’s director of US sales Andy Tung to talk about the company’s plans for netbooks and laptops in the region.

Tung disclosed that they plan on releasing the Wind U120 and U115 in the States in January; they will co-exist with the U100. These will use the newer Atom Z530 processor and will feature both SSD and a hard drive.

Additionally, MSI plans on releasing a 13.3 inch U300 at the event. Notably, it won’t be part of the Wind line, but is described to be a “very thin, light and affordable ultraportable,” with Tung claiming that people will be “shocked.”

Finally, MSI also promises a touch-screen Wind at the show, though no details were given.
