MSI announced a GX640 gaming notebook, a lightweight notebook with brush aluminum case and fire engine red accents.

It has a 15.4-inch LCD screen with 1680 x 1050 resolution, 4GB of DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive, 9-cell battery, Bluetooth, as well as Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. As a gaming notebook, it supports DirectX 11 graphics, a Core i5 processor, and Turbo Boost technology to increase overall performance during gameplay by 30 percent.

This notebook is available now on Amazon for $1,099.99, which is pretty cheap for a gaming notebook.
