Motorola’s rugged i580 now available in yellow

If it was sturdy before, it’s sturdy and stylish (somewhat) now.  Sprint has now launched the i580 clamshell in bright yellow and we know yellow isn’t exactly a favorite with most people, but the idea is for it be “highly visible” and not easy to lose.  Other than the new dip in yellow dye, the i580 retains its toughness and you will find the same Military Standard 810F resistance to shock, dust, vibration, solar radiation, rain, salt fog, and extreme barometric variations.  The phone supports push to talk and has a 1.9-inch internal display with a much smaller external screen for various alerts, GPS, Bluetooth, support for microSD expansion, a 1.3-megapixel camera, and up to 200 minutes of talktime on a 1130 mAh battery.
