.Motorola is going to fire more people and it’s going to launch only Android smartphones. What you didn’t know is that Motorola is going to fire half of the handset division employees which means fewer phones are going to be released. Only 12 phones are to be produced per year and when it comes to smartphones only Android will be consider as a viable OS. That seems like a good move. Not firing all those people but concentrating its efforts only on one OS. Even better that it’s Android.

If you happen to work in Motorola’s Enterprise Mobility Solutions or Home & Networks Mobility departments don’t worry, your job is still safe. As for the new releases we have no idea when Moto will be ready to launch its next Android phone but we did see some interesting Motorola designs a few weeks ago. Will any of those come with Android on board?
