Motorola Rival Now Available from Verizon Wireless

The second phone available now from Verizon Wireless is the Motorola Rival. The phone is a dedicated to all those messaging maniacs. When it slides open the Rival reveals a backlit QWERTY keyboard ready for instant messaging and lots of other texting.

The Rival will cost you $99 after a $50 online discount and with a two-year contract. Here’s what it will offer you:

  • Bluetooth,
  • 2.0 megapixel camera with video recording
  • V CAST Music with Rhapsody® (Subscription, Wireless and PC downloads)
  • V CAST Videos Capable
  • VZNavigatorsmCapable
  • 1XEV–DO (800/1900 MHz) connectivity
  • 2.2-inch 176×220 65K QCIF Display
