Motorola ML910 and MW810 Rugged Laptops
Motorola makes two new additions to its products with the the new ML910 Rugged Notebook and MW810 Mobile Workstation fully-rugged. Both are optimized wireless mobile computers designed specifically for government, public safety and enterprise mobile workers.
The ML910 Rugged Notebook is built to perform well in tough enviroments and meets the requirements of military and public safety users. It has been built and tested to the MIL-STD-810F United States Department of Defense standard. The ML910 Notebook excels in wireless performance and can handle up to four radios including Wireless Local Area Network, Bluetooth, GPS and Wide Area Network (WAN) radios. The ML910 operates on an Intel Core Duo 1.66Ghz processor. It features a 13.3” high resolution widescreen display that allows for more viewing space. The ATI Radeon X1400 graphics card provides 128MB video memory and video capture that provides high performance graphics and real-time video processing. Other features include fingerprint authentication, hard drive heater for operation in freezing temperatures.
The vehicle-mounted MW810 Mobile Workstation also provides secure and reliable wireless connectivity, even while moving at high speeds. Additionally it supports multiple internal radio. Its internal GPS and Dead Reckoning module provides reliable and accurate vehicle location verification. The MW810 provides Intel Core 2 Duo processing power, a sunlight readable display, and programmable buttons for quick access to applications and remote assistance. It has a versatile three piece design which includes a separate display, central processing unit and a keyboard. There are selection of configurations to fit specific vehicle types with the same CPU platform which are customized to specific needs and specifications.
