Motorola DROID to take over Times Square this Friday

It was recently announced that Verizon, Google, Reuters and R/GA are coming together to really push the advertising campaign of the DROID this Friday by taking over Times Square.

This latest stunt will have users calling 888-376-4336 in Manhattan to do a Google Voice search and then have their queries and search results displayes on the Reuters or NASDAQ signs.

What’s really interesting about this is that a person won’t be answering the phone call but instead an actual Motorola DROID which will process the search and then display it on the two above mentioned signs. Pretty amazing, huh?
