Motorola Devour joins the Verizon Wireless Android familyBy Mark Rollins - 02/03/2010 3:26:48 PM |
Verizon Wireless has just announced its newest member of the mobile family with the Motorola Devour. While I would have chosen a better name for the Motorola Droid’s little brother, it does have some pretty cool features.
For example, it has Motoblur software which enables the user to “merge contact information from various accounts and social networking sites and stream content from sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace, through a Happenings widget on your home screen”. The Devour has a universal in-box for messages, and runs on Android 1.6. It also has an HTML browser, 3-megapixel camera, HTML web browser with Flash lite, and a preinstalled 8GB microSD card. It should be available in March, but no word on the price.
