What do we have here? A new phone from Motorola? A new phone from Verizon Wireless? A new phone from Motorola and Verizon Wireless? Sure! The Motorola Blaze is a new touch screen phone which will be released by Verizon.

I’d hate to get my hopes up since Motorola hasn’t been really lately but let me take a look at this Blaze:

• custom OS for Verizon
• 2 megapixel camera,
• EV-DO Rev. A support,
• GPS, Bluetooth.

That’s it? Still feeling unsatisfied here. The touch screen is rumored to be responding harder than expected which means lots of finger effort. And while we are at rumors, it’s been said that there’s limited phone usage while the flip is closed. There might be visual voicemail too but we just don’t know.

While waiting for prices and plan options, I’ll have to say I don’t think this Motorola will be the next big hit. Too bad Verizon, not a winner here!
