Motorola Backflip to use Yahoo instead of Google

The verdict is in: the Motorola Backflip for AT&T will use Yahoo as its default search engine. This may not seem like anything notable but the fact that the Backflip is using Google’s Android operating system adds a bit of heat to the fire. Yahoo being the default browser on the Backflip actually marks the first ever Android device to feature it as its default search engine.

I wonder how Google is going to react to this. However, considering Android is an open platform, they can’t really do anything about it, it’s up to the manufacturer.
