Motorola Announces MC70 Enterprise Digital Assistant Support for CDMA-EVDO Networks

Motorola, today, issued a release, saying they are expanding their CDMA-EVDO (evolution-data optimized) networks, thanks to their MC70 Enterprise Digital Assistants. Their main goal? “expanding customer reach by eliminating carrier barriers and providing an enterprise mobility tool that can support nearly any application in any environment.”

The MC70 is a handheld computer, in the sense that you have computer combining multi-mode wireless networking, voice and data communications and advanced data capture capabilities in an ergonomic form. You can also assign deliveries to be made, including parcels, medication, you can ever direct fleet management and mobile POS.
With support for high-speed 3G EVDO networks, the MC70 has WAN/LAN/PAN functionality.

With technology comes a fairly steep price tag, depending on the model you want, the prices range from $2845 – $3195.
