Motorla VA76r in Canada by Rogers WirelessBy Tony - 09/30/2008 11:24:28 AM |

The popular and largest wireless carrier in Canada also known as Rogers Wireless, has presented a new cellphone for the masses, the Motorola Extreme VA76r.
The mobile phone is rugged and ugly but it can resist to a lot of stuff, such as: hot temperatures (up to 55 degrees C), drops from 48 inches of height, rainy + dusty conditions, and more. It is commonly known as certified to military standard 810 F.
If you forget about the looks and go straight for the list of specifications, there isn’t much surprise. The basic Motorola Extreme VA76r has a 2.2-inch QVGA display, bluetooth, 2-megapixel camera with 8x zoom, and supports HSDPA/3G.
Jim Madigan from Motorla Canada, comments:
The rugged design of the Motorola Extreme and the speed and reliability of Rogers’ network make staying connected in virtually all situations a reality.
The Motorola Extreme VA76r is available for $200 with a 3-year contract.
