If beating dead horses was a competition, Motorola will surely emerge as the runaway winner. Alltell has picked up yet another RAZR variant called the MOTORAZR VE20 which recently passed through the FCC. This clamshell has a 2-megapixel camera with video recording, GPS, a memory slot, and a 3.5mm jack for easy listening to music with any headphones you care to use. The upper part of the flipper has an external display and touch-sensitive buttons providing easy access to recent calls, music, and messages. Alltell has thrown in many of its network-oriented applications including Alltell Search, Aricent Celltop, Alltell Navigation, and City ID. Touted to be the lightest ever RAZR at only 3.17 oz, the VE20 is capable of providing 250 minutes of talktime and 360 hours of standby time.
The MOTORAZR can be preordered starting today at Alltell’s website for $99.99 after a 50 mail-in rebate with retail availability from September 25th.
