Moto VU204 Phone for October 14thBy Tony - 10/06/2008 6:02:47 AM |
Low-end cellphones are becoming a trend, most probably because people just want a simple cellphone that can do basic tasks like making/receiving calls, and sending/receiving text messages. If you’re interested in a cellphone of this type, get ready for the Motorola VU204 that will be available at Verizon next week.
The flip cellphone has a VGA camera with a self-timer (3, 5, or 10 seconds) to take good photos, and afterwards you can edit the image by rotating, cropping, and zooming. While the primary display screen has a resolution of 220×176, the secondary is smaller at 96×80.
Other features on the Moto VU204 include bluetooth as a wireless connection to transfer data, GPS, and a 2.5mm headset jack for sound. As usual, the phone has normal tools such as an alarm clock, stop watch, and a notepad.
The Moto VU204 costs $200 without rebate, or $30 if you go for the 2-year contract.
