08 Dec 08 Monster Charging $700 for White Dr. Dre Headphones
Have $700 burning a hole in your pocket? You’ve got just the place to spend it now, as Monster is now charging $700 for a pair of $350 headphones… painted white.
The headphones in question are the recently announced Dr. Dre Beats headphones, which are actually decent, noise-cancelling miniature boom boxes. Monster has teamed up withs ome guy named Ron Herman to bleed the money out of your pocket by offering up white versions of the black headphones in a limited edition run.
With the economy in recession, it doesn’t make sense how one can actually spend $700 on headphones that can be had for $350. But then again, it’s your money and your call.

What’s interesting about these headphones is I can’t find clear specs anywhere on their website. Checking various online stores I get varying sensitivity ratings.
