A new kind of app that should change the way music is rendered and mixed has earned a spot in the “New and Noteworthy” section of the Apple App Store. The app is the Mix Me In app which takes popular songs and breaks them down into different streams. This app then allows users to mix the said streams in any order and manner that they want, modifying and perhaps better versions.

This new app was made possible by Grammy Award winning producer Dallas Austin and Fried Green Apps. Mix Me In is now available at the iTunes app store for $1.99.
