Microsoft Zune Crosses One Million Mark
Here's an update on Microsoft's Zune player: sales have crossed the one million mark, and apparently accounts for 10 percent of marketshare for the hard drive based PMPs. This was revealed by Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division which covers Zune as well as the Xbox game console.
While not seen as an overwhelming start for the player, the Zune marketplace is seen to be doing pretty well. The marketplace is set to become a bit more than just a store, in terms of connecting people socially.
When asked about the SanDisk Sansa Connect player with Wi-fi, Mr. Bach said "The cool thing about integrated Wi-Fi on the Zune is that the innovation can all be in software."
