Microsoft to Launch Windows 8 in 2012?By Chris - 11/21/2009 11:09:48 PM |
Windows 7 is already a proven success and unlike Vista, it’s being trusted a lot more by both manufacturers and consumers. But that doesn’t mean Microsoft isn’t already building the next computer OS. Google has just announced its Chrome OS which takes a totally different approach to the way we imagine computer OS. Will Microsoft’s future Windows version be influenced by Chrome OS? It’s too early to say especially since Windows 8 is only supposed to arrive at some point in 2012. Of course, Redmond hasn’t officially announced any details regarding its next operating system version which means that we’ll have to keep on guessing until Steve Ballmer, or anyone else from Microsoft, is ready to announce future plans for Windows.
