Memorex releases MMP8551 MP3 Player
Memorex has recently released its latest MP3 player entitled MMP8551. In case you haven't noticed, this player is kind of similar to the iPod in some aspects, like not having a screen to display information about each song, and also being very simple design-wise, but at the same time very enjoyable to look at. Having small dimensions is another similar point, but that would be pushing it too much and generalizing all the MP3 players.
Instead of the rectangular shape that 2G iPods have, the Memorex MMP8551 has a circular shape, with the play button located right on the middle. I wonder what Memorex had in mind when deciding to only put 512MB of storage on this player, I guess they don't want to sell many, or maybe the price will be very low in order to be accessible to more people.
The MMP8551 is capable of playing MP3, WMA, and WMA audio file formats, and measures 2.3" x 2.3" x 0.8".
