Medion GoPal S2310 and X4510
Medion revealed two new GPS navigation systems, the GoPal S2310 and X4510, at CeBIT. The two models include the upgraded GoPal 3.0 navigation software. The updated software uses maps from nantec, and available in the editions; Medium Edition, Advanced Edition and Premium Edition.
GoPal S2310 sports a 3.5″ display screen. Its sports a rounded antishock plastic casing. A key feature is the tracking mode, which allows users to record the devices course and export it to Google Earth in order to visualize them. The GoPal S2310 will be priced around 299€.
The GoPal X4510 gets a larger 4″ display screen. It uses a gyroscope and an electronic compass in order to simulate navigation with noGPS reception. It also has a micro SD port for removable memory. Key features include a 4″ display, 324MHz Centrality Atlas II Processor, 256 MB internal memory MicroSD port, Hands free Bluetooth, Integrated RDS/TMC Receiver available in premium versions, GoPal 3 software, MP3 playback, a photo viewer, Remote control for steering wheel, and Windows CE 5.0 The retail price of the GoPal X4510 is expected to be around 499€.
