Medion GoPal P4425 GPS Device

PND theft from automobiles has become a usual affair in several European and U.S. cities. Unluckily most of the car insurance policies do not consider the cost of stolen personal possessions including PNDs. MEDION has sought a problem to this solution. At least the GPS won’t remain usable if stolen.
Say “Hi” to World’s First Fingerprint-enabled Personal Navigation Device introduced by MEDION and Say “Bye” to problems of theft. Medion’s GoPal P4425 GPS Device is equipped with an AuthenTec Fingerprint Sensor that enables Security Features/Theft Deterrence.
Enhancing User’s Security, this PND uses AuthenTec’s AES1510 slide fingerprint sensor for user identification letting only the authorised users activate it. MEDION’s pre-loaded GoPal software offers a possibility of storing up to five different user fingerprints to the device.
“Our goal was to create a feature-rich, portable PND which uses the best technologies and security features available today,” said Mark Jendrzok, MEDION AG’s Director of Product Management, Mobile Computing. “We are pleased to add AuthenTec’s TruePrint fingerprint sensor technology, which replaces passwords and PINs with a simple swipe of a finger, bringing convenient security to owners of this innovative new navigation system.”
MEDION’s GoPal P4425 features:
• 4.3" TFT touch screen display
• FM transmitter which enables voice guidance via the vehicle’s sound system

• RDS-TMC receiver for live traffic updates
