Now here is a different kind of portable media player, the Maxiam PCP L600. Unlike almost all the others players available on the market, the L600 is targeting educational content to be displayed on the player.

There are 2 options for the storage capacity, either a small one that has 40GB or a big one that has 80GB of space. As for the LCD display, it is on the WQVGA category and measures 4.3-inches which gives a resolution of 480×272. Besides being able to play audio and video, there are other useful features such as being able to watch or record TV, a wake-up call feature and Text to Speech.

About the educational part, it provides video lectures that were made in cooperation with 15 online education websites.

The price for the 40GB version will be around $350, and the bigger version will cost $400.
