Mapple Phone Anyone?By Chris - 08/06/2008 9:18:44 AM |

Well here we are talking about iPhones and Omnias and all sorts of Motorola when this Mapple Phone slides in. It’s a totally eco-friendly concept right here. The phone is made out of thin wooden film which has backlighting and touch sensitive buttons. It was time someone built something like this.
The Mapple phone is a slider phone, only that the whole sliding is a little different. When you do slide it an LCD appears. That’s rather weird as usually the keys are hidden.
We’re probably looking at an entry level Mapple phone here but I am sure the day will come when smartphones will be similarly built.
