Yesterday we let you know that Android version 2.0.1 was being pushed out for Droids everywhere but if for some reason you have yet to secure the update we have an alternate option for you.

All you need to do is download a file, save it on an SD card and then do some hardware trickery to get the device to update.

Of course, since this isn’t an official update, do so at your own risk.
