Magellan%20Roadmate%201200-gps.jpgBesides the Magellan 3200, 4200, 4040, and all the other models on the different series, there is a new GPS device named Magellan RoadMate 1200. The navigation system has a 3.5-inch QVGA display that is a touchscreen and comes with an anti-glare feature.

In terms of dimensions, the RoadMate 1200 measures 3.6 x 0.7 x 3.3 inches, and weighs only 130 grams. On top of the high number of 1,3 million POIs (points of interest) that already exist in the memory, there are maps of the US, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico - also inside the 1GB SD memory card.

Additional features:
- QuickSpell to help out users when typing an address

- SmartDetour so you can get away from the traffic
- After a full charge, the Magellan RoadMate 1200 is capable of being a portable device for 3 hours, after that period it needs a recharge
