Sure, Google maps and their free map app for Android is looking really good for replacing GPS devices, and Microsoft has its own version. Bing Maps went live in its Beta stage, and has resources like directions, traffic, satellite, and road view.
It also has its version of Streetview known as Streetside, and it also has an app called Twitter Maps that can give you a bird’s eye view of your friends’ Twitter status.
