Longcheer, a top Chinese mobile device manufacturer, along with u-blox AG, a leading Swiss provider of GPS receivers, has announced the inclusion of u-blox AG's LEA-4S GPS module in their latest phone - the G300 GPS phone. Longcheer's newest GSM mobile phone includes other premium features, including an MP3/MP4 player, VGA camera, GPS engine, and WAP internet browser.

The Longcheer G300 GPS phone also features ultra-long standby, weighs just 102 grams, and measures 117 x 50 x 16.5mm.

The u-blox AG LEA-4S GPS module is cost effective, and offers a high degree of sensitivity along with low power consumption. Its built-n SuperSense weak signal tracking technology allows the GPS navigation to be used without interruption in shopping malls, train stations, and building interiors without losing te signals.

The Longcheer G300 phone is currently on display at the CeBIT show, which runs through March 21, and will be available in April 2007 in China. Internationally, the phone will be available soon after the China launch.
