LivingSocial is a big social network for people that like to share their views on different subjects, such as books, music, games, restaurants, and more. The good news is that they went from internet to the iPhone, and launched the application earlier today, which means it is already available for download at the iPhone App Store.
At the moment LivingSocial has a good number of registered users set at 6.8 million, and since the number of items that can be reviewed is also big – 98 million – the final result can only be good. Users can search for a specific product, publish the review, and add photos – everything is done on the iPhone. As it happens on social networks, users can interact with each other and check profiles + list of items on their catalog.
One uncommon subject that can be reviewed at LivingSocial is beer, be it Guinness, Heineken, Corona Extra, Budweiser, and many others.
Tim O’Shaughnessy of Living Social, comments:
Whether you’re at a restaurant or shopping for the holidays, we want to make it as easy as possible for users to access reviews and lists of family and friends, or even take photos of their experiences to enhance our user-managed database.
