Lime PC Unveiled: Will Run on Freescale ''Motherboard-on-Chip'' Processor
Freescale Semiconductor has developed an affordable "motherboard-on-a-chip" processor device which contains the functionalities of various hardwares and hence, could be used for very small PCs. Lime PC is no bigger than a deck of cards which makes it a perfect testing device for the new Freescale processor. The Lime PC M1 is a Linux-based UMPC by Chinese company Tsinghua Tongfang. It features touchscreen, 16GB flash memory, Bluetooth and WiFi. I weighs a mere 130g and measures 110 x 58 x 15.9mm. It is expected to retail at USD$299 in later 2008. A full UMPC at that price? I definitely want.
