LG VX9100 and Samsung U940 headed for Verizon
It's official. The Samsung U940 and LG VX9100 are indeed coming to Verizon, after going through the FCC. Samsung's U940, the CDMA version of F700, may look like the iPhone but can give it a run for its money when we talk about features. The U940 comes with a 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA with speeds up to 7.6Mbps, a "drag and drop" touch interface on a 2.78 inch color display, VibeTonz technology, and a full QWERTY keyboard. There is no information on what sort of operating system this baby might be running. But get ready iPhone, the big players are growing restless.
On the other hand, not much is known about the LG VX9100 other than the tidbit that it might come with EV-DO.
Verizon customers can expect both of these within the first quarter of 2008.
