Samsung isn’t the only one thinking eco friendly thoughts when it comes to its future cell phones. LG is also prepared to launch eco friendly phones at the MWC 2009. A phone capable to charge directly from the sun and coming in green packaging is expected to arrive in Barcelona. The solar battery will get you 3 minutes of talk time for every 10 minutes of sun love, so I guess you’ll have to avoid talking on the phone on the rainy days. Will we see more than one device? LG also says that its manuals are going to be printed on recycled paper with ink made out of soy. We have no idea when the phone is going to arrive but it’s expected this year for an undisclosed price.
