I’m thinking of getting this phone because I really like the way it looks and how the dialing is a touch dial. I read all the comments and now I am really skeptical… could someone recommend another phone like this one (good looks and slide out keyboard) that doesn’t have so many errors? I would really appreciate it, thanks a ton.

ya im planning to get this phone, i hear its good if u buy it after the release date untill rogers figures out all the glitches and errors
most people who are having trouble probably bought the phone before the release date .

I am thinking about this phone and i love the way it has a slide out keyboard and it has a touch screen. Now that i hear it isn’t such a great phone what would be a better phone to choose? (i text a lot) and im not a big fan of the propel. thanks!

This phone is garbage, apart from looking and feeling like a toy and the plastic case being rather flimsy and very thin, the touch screen only works when dialing the virtual keyboard, it does not work in menus and games. The phone is also very buggy… mine keeps resetting itself and freezing and Rogers says they will only replace it for the exact same phone…. I’ve only had the thing 30 days.

It was free for us and we hate it so much we called back and bought a new phone, Rogers wouldnt even take it back for us to get a discount on the new phone.

worst phone ive ever had (i had the original razor before this….yea) . calls get suspended about 75% of the time, people can hear me but i cant hear them so i gotta tell them to hold on a minute until it works… you can say anything about specs or whatever, but the bottomline is its a phone first, and if it cant even function as a phone what good is it? goin back today, peace out

How much coding would it take to add touch features for the icons and moving the text cursor? MINIMAL! In fact, I bet it was just disabled.

Also they crippled the MicroSD so that you are REQUIRED to have your video and audio files in particular directories to see them. What a PITA!

Minor annoyance is no dictionary. Doesn’t come with headset (proprietary jack) and thus no radio since it need it for an antenna. Haven’t figured out how to backup the phone’s memory yet if it can even be done. Also doesn’t come with a data cable.

..You wanna by a car, cheep?
..It’s a nice looking car.
..It comes with seats, but you can’t use them while driving.
..Has air, but you can’t use it when it’s hot.
..It has heat, but you can’t use it when it’s cold.
..But the mirror works all the time, so you can look good in it!
..Oh and the retractable roof only retracts when there are a flock of birds above ready to cr*p on ya!

If you don’t mind the fact that you are paying for stuff you aren’t getting, it appears to be a good phone. Had it for a week now. People can’t hear me so well on the speaker phone. Minimal manual. Haven’t tried web access but I bet no touch screen on that either.

I like the weight (light), the keyboard and battery life is better then the Nokia 6555 I had before.

One thing I *REALLY* like about the phone is that I can return it. Oh wait, that isn’t part of the phone!!

I got this phone and now after just 10 days it is broken and I am going to have to take it back!
I never even dropped it or anything, the phone itself is malfunctioning. I get no service on it (there is nothing wrong with my account) and it wont even turn off!
